Hand Transplant UK has today officially launched its website.
The website provides information on the first UK programme to offer reconstruction of the absent or functionless upper limb by means of transplantation.
Upper limb transplantation offers those who have undergone amputation of their hand or arm a realistic option of restoring a hand that feels, looks and moves as a human hand should.
The website provides information for patients, healthcare professionals and the media as well as allowing patients to refer themselves to the scheme co-ordinators for consideration of inclusion into the programme.
The website will be updated through the blog with new developments and patient outcomes.
Follow Hand Transplant UK through Twitter to keep up with all the news.
