Mr Wilks is a Plastic Surgery Registrar currently employed by Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust. He completed his medical training in 2003 and has since spent time developing his surgical skills and knowledge within specialist centres in Yorkshire.
His interests include management of acquired and congenital conditions of the hand, management of the absent hand and surgical reconstruction. He has spent time researching and publishing scientific articles on abnormalities of the children’s hand and childhood tumours, amongst other areas.
