Qualifications: BSc Hons; MBChB; MRCP
Having done medical training in St Andrews and Manchester, Elizabeth Stoppard completed her higher specialist training in Rehabilitation Medicine in Oxford. Since 2007 she has worked as Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine based at Airedale General Hospital in Yorkshire. Her special interests include rehabilitation in stroke, multiple sclerosis and head injury; rehabilitation in all causes of limb loss in adults and children; pain management and spasticity management.
Role within the Hand Transplant Team:
- Assessment and advice regarding prosthetic function and cosmesis in upper limb loss.
